About the Artist
State of the Art Preservation

I am a southern girl turned world traveler, who embraces the canon of southern hospitality and charm. I am happiest either, in my garden, surrounded by birds, family, and flowers, or in the serenity of nature with nothing but fresh air and warm sunshine.

I have a deep love and respect for the natural world. The meaningful relationship I have with the magnificence of this planet is reflected in my pressed flower art.

I feel it is my life’s calling to use my passion for preserving flowers to commemorate the most meaningful moments in my clients’ lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

The preservation process typically takes 12-16 weeks, depending on the size and type of bouquet. I want to ensure each petal is perfectly preserved for lasting beauty.

I can preserve a wide variety of flowers. However, there are some additions to bouquets that will not press well, such as berries and palm fronds. If the water content is too high or if it will not press flat, then it will most likely not make it into your framed bouquet.

It’s ideal to bring in your bouquet as soon as possible after the event. It is also very important that you get your flowers into water as soon as you can. The fresher the flowers, the better the preservation results.

Absolutely! I can preserve additional items like ribbons, photographs, invitations, or any other special elements along with your flowers to create a comprehensive and meaningful display (as long as it will lay flat).

Keep your preserved bouquet away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. A dry and cool environment is best for long-term preservation.

I only work with fresh flowers.  Consider contacting a bouquet preservationist who works with resin to work with your flowers.

Absolutely! I can work with flowers from events held anywhere in the world. Just make sure to get them in water ASAP and overnight ship them to me.
